V1.8.4: Wineskin-Winery-1.8.4 .2

Wineskin.Winery.txz was updated and is required for Wineskin-2.9.0.7-rc2 due to internal changes that were required for Rosetta2 compatibility.

DXVK Support!!!!;

• Only tested on a mid 2014 13in Macbook Pro and base mode M1 Mac Mini
• 64Bit Engine (WS10 or later Engines will suffice)
• macOS 10.13 or greater (might work below but I haven't tested)
• winetricks menu only shows compatible DXVK verbs

Apple Silicon Support;

This will now function under Rosetta2 use WineCX19 or greater, direct draw & Direct3D won't function so things like cnc-ddraw & DxWnd can be used to workaround this limitation.

Please Note;

The previous master wrapper Wineskin-2.9.0.7-rc1 won't be able to update to this master wrapper version as the structure has changed, while it's technically possible to update a current wrapper to the rc2 I won't provide any support for this so please create the wrapper over and manually move over the wineprefix files currently located with the wrappers /Contents/Resources directory into the newly created wrapper.
The Wineprefix location will also be moved in for rc3

Unofficial Wineskin Winery-1.8.3

Winery now correctly handles "-" in Engine names.
This fixes downloading the following engines;

• WS9Wine64Bit4.3-2
• WS9Wine4.3-2
• WS9WineStaging64Bit3.13-2
• WS9WineStaging3.13-2
• WS9WineStaging64Bit2.10-3
• WS9WineStaging2.10-3
• WS9WineStaging64Bit2.4-3
• WS9WineStaging2.4-3
• WS9Wine64Bit2.4-3
• WS9Wine2.4-3

The above now get downloaded correctly, where as before the "-" would be ignored.

Unofficial Wineskin Winery-1.8.2

The following Version of Winery I consider stable so I'm adding it as a release.

Functions on OSX10.8 > macOS10.14 including the EngineRepacking feature.
This was verified by downloaded and Engine and creating a Wrapper on OSX10.8.

I updated the link to the latest Wine Staging 2.21 OSX 64 bit release...

I just repackaged for Wineskin, the 64bit engines taken from here...

I made a test installing 7-zip x86 and 7-zip x64 and it install them automatically in their appropriate folders as happens in windows x64 O.S.:

Well, seeing the launch screen of FO4 is definitely some progress. :-)

New mobile wineskin winery website and forums coming soon.

I'm planning on revamping this website. The current plan is I'll make pretty much the entire website from scratch, as it's really all static data besides news updates, so it's not too difficult. The plan is to make it responsive so it'll look and work right on anything from phones to desktops.

The issue comes down to... I don't want to try to make a Forum from scratch. I'd like to find one I can integrate in easy and will work good, including a responsive design.

I'd like input if anyone has anything I should look at that would be easy enough to use and would work good for the website here.

What we need i can think of...

• Open Source
• Easy to modify the looks/appearance
• Responsive design
• Can allow moderated anonymous posts like now
• Allows users to also make accounts, so trusted users don't have to go through moderation.
• easy to search and find posts for users looking for answers to questions
• Will last and be well supported for years to come

Anything else anyone can think of? I haven't messed with Forum software much in years, but anything has to be better than this one... going to dump all of Tiki software.

Wineskin 2.6.2 wrapper has been released

About : Wineskin is a tool used to make ports of Windows software to Mac OS X.  The ports are in the form of normal Mac application bundle wrappers.  It works like a wrapper around the Windows software, and you can share just the wrappers if you choose.

Wineskin 2.6.2 Minor update is available as an update in Wineskin Winery.

Wineskin 2.6.1 has now been released

I've released an update for Wineskin ... version 2.6.1.
I think I've fixed all the Mac OSX El Capitan bugs and it should work fine on 10.6 - 10.11 now.

* important point.  This has to change how an engine is installed in a wrapper slightly.  If you update a wrapper to 2.6.1 and it does not work right, please reinstall the engine in the wrapper.  You can just use Change Engine and install the same one back in, but it will install it correctly for 2.6.1 and then things should work right.  Newly made wrappers should have no issues.
Please test 2.6.1 and let me know of any issues.  I'll try to fix any new issues that may be found for a 2.6.2 soon if its needed.

You'll be able to get 2.6.1 in Wineskin Winery as an updated wrapper.
Sorry for the long delay, and not having these issues fixed before El Capitan was released.
If you get stuck with a wrapper that just goes "Cannot be opened" then Right click in the wrapper and select Open the first time you run it.
