"According to http://wiki.winehq.org/WineReleasePlan wine-0.9.61, due
out Friday, May 2, 2008, will be the first release candidate for 1.0,
and mark the start of the code freeze."

No parties in my country I'm afraid. I'll celebrate on my own though :)

I'm looking forward to it, I've been following Wine for quite sometime and I hope the best for the project. I still don't use Windows programs regularly on Ubuntu, but with every release I try out some apps to see how things are, and with every release it does get better and better.
