what about Access?

Access requires Internet explorer to be installed. You can install Internet explorer and then Office 97 on top on that and Access should function to some degree.

Hi,
If you have wine installed and Excel 97 on a WinXP partition installed (dual boot), do you have to install Excel 97 again on Linux ?
Thx

Yes, you will need to install Excel in Wine.

During installation of MS Office 97 with Wine 0.9.58 I got the message Error 544, cannot open file Off97Pro.stf.

With which version of Wine did you get it ?

With the version that was current as of September 15, 2007... I have started posting what Wine version was tested because with one version something works and the next it doesnt :(

Hi, installation seems to work, but I didn't understand the regedit chapter:
[Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion]
[Software\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion]

In which "HKEY_..." registry do I find this, and what and how does I have to write in ?

Installation worked, but I can't launch any application :-(
