Dan Kegel released a new and improved WineTricks that brings in support for Microsoft .NET 1.1 SP1. But in order for all of this to work correctly you need to install gdiplus and Visual C++ libraries.

Run winetricks and install the following for Microsoft .NET 1.1 SP1 to work correctly:

• dotnet11
• gdiplus
• vcrun2005
• vcrun2005sp1
