The 1.4 release of Bordeaux is here: Bordeaux WineTricks Manager

This is the second release (0.2) of Bordeaux, this release adds a GUI to WineTricks. The Application Manger hasn't had any changes in this release but there should be some tweaks on the way for the Application Manager very soon.... hopefully you will see these in the next release.

WineTricks Changes

1) MFC40i.exe was pulled by Microsoft so we now install mfc40.dll
from a IE6 mfc40.cab
2) Renamed winver= arg to winver=win2000

Usage

set permissions to +x and execute with a double click or better yet at this time run from a terminal with $ ./bordeaux-winetricks or ./bordeaux
The winetricks script should be left in the same directory as bordeaux-winetricks to function correctly. To install a redistributable runtime just double click on it's name and Bordeaux will install it into Wine for you.

About Bordeaux Wine Configuration Manager

Here is a small Wine Configuration Manager that has a GUI for native Wine applications. This is a 0.1 release so it's still a work in progress, proof of concept.

The app is built with GTK and should run on any system that has GTK support installed.

(Quit) has not been implemented yet so you will have to X to quit the program. I placed it in my home directory and executed it from there, the features that are currently implemented seem to work fine.

Usage

To use Bordeaux place the exacutable in your home directory or in your path if you want it installed somewhere else. To run a winelib application just double click the application and it should run.
