Geocoding @ Wikimedia Commons

Ahoy, there, fellow geocoder!

Images can be similarly geocoded on the Wikimedia Commons, and they have their own GoogleEarth layer and everything. Shows up on Google Maps too.

Armchair traveling has never been so easy!

Black screen

Hi,

I tried installing Google Earth for Windows, but forgot to run it in windowed mode the first time. As you would expect, I got a
black screen.

I then turned windowed mode on, tried running it again, and still got a
black screen. I even tried uninstalling and manually deleting all google files, but I
still can't get it running.

What do I have to do to make it work, if I ran it in
windowless mode the first time?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
