About SEGA Rally Revo

For the first time ever, experience real-time terrain deformation in the off-road racing genre, with SEGA Rally Revo's proprietary GeoDeformation™ technology. As drivers power around looping tracks within numerous environments, their chosen tires will leave tracks which dynamically deteriorate the track surface - meaning no two laps are ever the same. Driving fully customizable licensed cars, players will compete in close-quarters, intensely competitive single-player and multiplayer races made possible by the processing power of next-generation platforms.

Wine configuration

This application was tested with Wine 0.9.58.

This is with a clean configuration directory and running in a 1024x768 virtual desktop.

$ winecfg

Once the .wine directory is built the configuration tool will start and you can set a virtual desktop in the graphics tab if you wish.

SEGA Rally Revo Demo install

Before we need to install this program for windows:

http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html

change directory "cd" to the install directory and run:

$wine setup

During installation you must confirm the installation of directx.

The executable is in /SEGA/SEGA Rally AUTO BILD DEMO.

$wine SEGA\ Rally

Notes

This game requires a powerful computer, we recommend a card modern (series 9xxx or 8xxx) to play at low resolutions. Although not playable I have not seen any bugs graphics important.
