Well in my patient await for Wine 1.0 to be released I have dug out some of my old games. For those of you who might ask why I am doing a write up of this game I took a look at the AppDB and notice other users were having difficulty with this game when it really is just simple as 1, 2, 3. So without further adieu here is the howto.

One more thing, I am not going to include any commands except what are in the pictures. This install is just too simple.

"Riven is the sequel to the highly successful computer game Myst. The story of Riven is set immediately after the events of Myst. Having been rescued from the machinations of his sons, Atrus enlists the help of the Stranger to free his wife from his power-hungry father, Gehn.
