Alpine Ski Racing 2007 combines the Ski Alpin and Ski Racing franchises into one all-new skiing sim. Beside the opportunity of creating an own character and starting with him in the World Cup the player has the chance to optionally start with Hermann Maier or Bode Miller too. Features: • Carreer mode – Create your own character and take him to the World Cup! • Sophisticated carreer mode – Imitate the career of Hermann Maier or Bode Miller! • 38 different races in 16 diverse venues • Six different disciplines: Downhill, Super-G, Giant Slalom, Slalom as well as Free Ride and Speed Downhill • Three different leagues: procreation, amateur and professional • Three different degrees of difficulty: simple, medium and difficult • Two commentators with more than 1300 different audio comments Wine configuration This game was tested with Wine 0.9.52 This is with a clean configuration directory and running in a 1024x768 virtual desktop. $ winecfg Once the .wine directory is built the configuration tool will start and you can set a virtual desktop in the graphics tab if you wish. This is a good time to also set your Audio driver in the Audio tab. Alpine Ski Racing 2007 install The full game or demo should install without any problems, (I installed the demo BTW) if your installing from the game CD just mount the CD and change directory to where the setup.exe is located and run $wine setup.exe tom@tuxonfire ~ $ wine sar2007_demo.exe  Alpine Ski Racing 2007 first run
