Wow that is impressive to see it working under wine. But I wonder what sort of performance you are getting?

How does it compare with the smoothness of gameplay on windows? I recorded some game play here:

It's just now to the point of playability, with the 3DMark patches included.

I installed, but when i tried to run the game i got the error:

err:module:import_dll Library d3dx9_34.dll (which is needed by L"C:\\Program Files\\Activision\\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare Demo\\iw3sp.exe") not found
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\Program Files\\Activision\\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare Demo\\iw3sp.exe" failed, status c0000135

any suggestions?

chris: you should go here: , the problem is that you haven't the DX9 installed.
